The Back
- The back
This is the back of the guitar. The back and sides are made frome Monterrey cypress. Again, this is two pieces of wood that I have joined in the center. I created the final joint with a hand plane that I made.

I have attached my makers label here with hide glue. This completes the back of the guitar.

- Back bracing
This is the inside of the back. It has a back joint reinforcement as well as three cross braces. These help to strengthen the back and have some affect on the tone of the guitar. I cut, glued, and carved the cross braces as well as all the bracing for the top from a billet of spruce.
